Fox-T
In 1984 Balestrini
introduced the model
TTNC
fully CNC controlled round end tenoner.
This highly
sophisticated CNC system not only positioned the lenght, tilt, angle and
rotation of the working units; But also controlled the tool movement
during the machining process.
This feature
allowed the user to cut tenons of any shape (oval, octagon, square,
triangle etc…) at the time the advanced CNC system used was cost
prohibitive to be practical for the chair producers of that era; however
the knowledge by the research and development department at Balestrini
established them as leaders in CNC controlled chair production
equipment.
Now almost two
decades later, Balestrini has revisited the original concept of the
TTNC which will be the model
FOX-T.
By utilizing today’s technology the FOX-T is a very flexible and
cost effective system which meets the demand of today’s chair maker,
moreover
FOX-T is
the faster tenoner currently available on the market.
